At least 200 bodies were found in a mass grave in the Syrian city of Raqqa

A local team in northern Syria has found at least 200 bodies, some of them believed to be Qelti’s group, in a new mass grave in the city of Raqqa, a local official told AFP on Wednesday.

“The cemetery contains dozens of holes, each containing five bodies,” said Yasser al-Khamis, the head of the initial response team in Raqqa. “They found the bodies of five people in orange, which the organization was forcing them to wear. The Syrian Human Rights Observatory confirmed that the same number of bodies had been found inside the cemetery.
