    George Washington Bridge in New York closed due to bomb threat

    US authorities on Friday closed the George Washington Bridge in New York for a bomb threat.

    New York Mayor Bill de Blazio announced on Twitter that all the corridors of the double bridge were closed at around 9 pm (0100 GMT Friday) after a threat was reported about a suspicious device, pointing to travelers.
