    Michigan State Police and Dearborn Police conduct a joint traffic enforcement task force to address community concerns. Officers utilized data and high tech measures in an effort to make Dearborn streets safer for all drivers. Members of both departments were vigilant for distracted drivers, reckless drivers and seatbelt violations. Additionally, MSP, Melvindale Police and Dearborn Officers conducted commercial truck safety inspections and enforcement actions. Truck safety efforts were deployed in the industrial zone located in Dearborn’s south end again in response to community members concerns. The overall goal of the mission was to educate drivers with the hopes of gaining voluntary compliance.
    Dearborn Officers also addressed quality of life issues with regard to abandoned vehicles/debris and littering.
