Saudi Arabia to host three-day jazz festival

A three-day jazz, food and arts festival will be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh starting Thursday.
The festival’s entertainment department said, “it will celebrate jazz culture which emerged at the beginning of the 20th century, and inspired other audiovisual arts schools.”
The department didn’t reveal the names of the artists who will be attending the festival, however they said that the festival “will allow visitors to experience jazz in a unique environment that will combine artists and jazz lovers in one place.”
Saudi residents who are passionate about the arts will be able to experience jazz music which was introduced to the world in the middle of the 19th century in New Orleans.
