    Leicester City Surrenders to FIFA

     Leicester City will not resort to the sports arbitration court after FIFA rejected an application from the English Football Association for granting Midfielder Adrian Silva an international transport card, the L’Equipe newspaper reported.
    Leicester City bought the 28-year-old player just minutes before the transfer window closed on Aug. 31 however FIFA who is in charge of international transfers received the player’s papers 14 seconds after the registration deadline.
    Leicester City will wait for the winter Mercato in January to receive the player, after deciding not to try before the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
