    Police, DEA partner for drug take back program in Dearborn, Heights

    Anyone with unused and outdated prescription drugs lying around the house can get rid of them safely during an upcoming “Drug Take Back” program being hosted by the Dearborn and Dearborn Heights Police Departments in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
    The 14th annual program is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Dearborn Police Department, 16099 Michigan Ave., and the Dearborn Heights Police department, 25637 Michigan Ave. Unwanted prescription drugs can be dropped off during that time as part of the free and anonymous service. No questions will be asked.
    Only pills and patches will be accepted – liquids, needles and/or sharps will not be accepted at both locations.
