The Muslim American Youth Academy’s Annual Fundraising Dinner.

The Muslim American Youth Academy’s Annual Fundraising Dinner was a huge success! The pre-school through 8th grade students did an amazing job performing “Children of the World, and Allah Ya Maulana” related to the dinner’s theme, “We are One”, showcasing the multiculturalism in the school and community. Linda Charara and Hameed Dakroub were the Masters of Ceremony for the night. The parents and community members were very impressed with the students and with the showcase of all the great things happening at MAYA. The students at MAYA have been exceeding national and state averages on both the M-STEP and NWEA assessments. MAYA was established in 1997, and continues to promote exemplary Islamic values and academic success. Without the hard work and dedication from the highly qualified staff and supportive parents, MAYA wouldn’t have achieved and maintained their national accreditation through AdvancED for the last 8 years.
