Obama tweets he’s ‘inspired’ by March For Our Lives participants

Former President Barack Obama was among those who took to social media on Saturday and commented on the “March for Our Lives” events taking place around the country.
“Michelle and I are so inspired by all the young people who made today’s marches happen. Keep at it. You’re leading us forward. Nothing can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change,” Obama tweeted.
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton also posted a tweet after going to the event in New York City, “Inspiring seems too weak a word for how I felt as a citizen and as a mom-amidst the sea of unrelenting determination that this time will be different.”
Hundreds of thousands are estimated to have gathered in various cities to “demand an end to gun violence, the latest and most visible show of force by a student-led political movement in the wake of a deadly school shooting in Parkland,” notes the Washington Post.
