Loose leaf collection ended this week in Dearborn

Being a Tree City USA means we have plenty of leaves! Thanks to the hard work of the Department of Public Works leaf collection crews, loose leaves have been removed from every neighborhood across the city since October. This is a reminder that loose leaf collection ended this week, as of Friday, Dec. 4, and any bagged or containerized leaf collection will end the week of Dec. 7-11. Both programs will be completed on your trash day that week. Please place any bagged or containerized leaves on the easement alongside your trash or recycling carts on your regular garbage collection day. Any questions about either program can be directed to 313-943-2433. If you have any remaining leaves after this time, you can dispose of them at the DPW Yard, 2951 Greenfield, on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the next scheduled DPW Yard day.
