A statistical Study on the Fasting of Muslim Children in the community and the difficulties they face in the University of Michigan

Ramadan Kareem! Sadly, there is almost no medical literature about children who fast for Ramadan, even though it is very common! Some doctors don’t even know that some children or teenagers fast!

So, please help us study this! We are researchers from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and want to help pediatricians better understand children’s fasting habits.

Please take this anonymous, 5 minute survey. If you are a parent or guardian of a child between the age of 7 and 18 and identify as Muslim, you can participate! The survey can be taken in either English or Arabic.

This study has been approved by the University of Michigan Institutional Review Board (IRB).
