Syria: the military found a cache with weapons and ammunition of militants in the south of Damascus

The Syrian authorities, with the help of a group of local residents, found equipment for creating tunnels, excavators for the production of solutions, a large number of ammunition and missiles belonging to terrorists, the correspondent of the Federal News Agency (FAN) reports
According to the field officer, these seizures were discovered during the inspection of the towns of Babylla, Beit Sahm and Yalda in the south of the province of Damascus .
During the combing of these three regions, a large number of shells, improvised explosive devices and guns of militants were found.
Recall that on May 21, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) with the help of the Allies managed to take control of all areas of the province of Damascus. This happened for the first time in seven years of military operations in the republic.
More than 180,000 people were withdrawn from the humanitarian corridors, including 28,000 militants. Now detachments of the Syrian army continue to clean up homes and underground tunnels, identifying possible trap mines, and also checking out secluded places where suicide bombers could have fallen asleep.Under the control of government troops, the cities of Hajar Al-Aswad, Yalda, Babbila, Beit Sahm, and Yarmuk were taken.
At the moment, a brigade of sappers is working in the region, which is carrying out an operation to clear bombs and mines. They are also looking for terrorists’ tunnels and secret ammunition depots.
