    American newspaper, the Saudi agents who killed Khashoggi received training in the United States

    The American newspaper “New York Times” reported that “the Saudi agents who killed the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi received paramilitary training in the United States.”

    The newspaper pointed out that “four Saudis who participated in the 2018 killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was working for the “Washington Post” newspaper, had received paramilitary training in the United States a year earlier under a contract approved by the US State Department.”

    She added that “the training was provided by the Arkansas-based Tier 1 Group, owned by the private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, of a defensive nature and designed to protect Saudi leaders.”

    And American media reported that “a human rights organization called on members of Congress to raise allegations about Cairo’s cooperation with the Khashoggi assassination team, during the visit of Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel to Washington this week.”
