Israel will not interfere with Hezbollah’s oil shipments from Iran to Lebanon

An Israeli military official said that Tel Aviv will not move to stop Iranian fuel shipments to Lebanon, amid an economic and energy crisis in Lebanon.

The former commander of the Israeli navy, retired Rear Admiral Eli Sharvit, asserted that given the chaos that the Lebanese economy is going through, “Israel has no interest” in halting shipments of fuel intended for civilian use.

Yesterday, Thursday, trucks loaded with Iranian oil began arriving in Lebanon, after the Iranian ship unloaded its cargo at Banias port in Syria, and the trucks began transporting these materials overland to Lebanon.
