    The Sudanese continue their protests against the army’s seizure of power

    The Sudanese capital, Khartoum, is witnessing continuous protests for the second day in a row, as demonstrators block the main streets, amid calls for mass civil disobedience, in refusal to seize power by the army.

    Our correspondent reported that citizens took to the streets today in residential areas and closed roads with stones and burning tires.

    On Monday, Khartoum witnessed clashes between the security and military forces on the one hand, and the demonstrators rejecting the army’s seizure of power, on the other. The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced the killing of 7 people and the injury of 140 others.
