    The Dearborn Police Department held it’s 2018 National Night Out

    The Dearborn Police Department held it’s 2018 National Night Out on August 7, 2018.
    The event is held every August across the Nation and is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
    National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
    The event was attended by Congressman Debbie Dingell, Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad, Beaumont Health, Target, Chief Financial, Levy Corp. ,Cheat Treats and more who helped sponsor.
    The crowd included residents , City Employees and more as well as police displays and other agencies.
    In conclusion, certificates of appreciation were awarded to over to residents who assisted Police throughout the year as well as Dearborn Business Owners who maintains their property to a high standard throughout the year.
    These included: Parkside Credit Union, Ruskos Towing, Bisher Market, FB Wright Co. & Rich Davis Trucking.
