Police seize drugs and weapons from suspected drug dealers in southwest Michigan

Police in southwest Michigan seized drugs and weapons from suspected drug dealers during two raids Wednesday.

First, Michigan State Police Soldiers and the Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) executed a search warrant at the 2600 block of North US 31 Highway in Niles Township as part of a methamphetamine distribution investigation. Police found crystal meth and the suspected heroin, as well as evidence of drug distribution.

Police have arrested a 51-year-old man who was paroled outside Indiana for turning over crystal methamphetamine, tampering evidence and parole violations because he was living illegally in Michigan.
