Plane makes emergency landing on California highway

One person was injured when a small plane landed on a highway in northern California Saturday.
Authorities say the single-engine Cessna 172 made the emergency landing on Interstate 580 in Alameda County after the pilot reported a rough-running engine.
It remains unknown at this time where the flight originated. But officials say the pilot was trying to get to the Hayward Airport when a fuel line ruptured.
Officials say the plane did not sustain any damage during the landing, and no vehicles on the freeway hit the plane.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol say two people were onboard the plane, and only one complained of pain.
