    “A Walk for Hunger 2018”

    On Saturday, August 18, 2018 “A Walk for Hunger 2018” took place to benefit the hunger organization of Forgotten Harvest.
    The community came out to walk and represent those that are hungry at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn.
    Ms. Kimberly Ismail, Chairman of the event and Co-chair Chief Ronald Haddad along with City officials and community leaders sent a message that nobody should be food insecure.
    The “Walk” was sponsored and brought to the community by The Dearborn Police, Fairlane Car Wash, Remax Leading Edge, Papaya Fruit Market, The Lava Lounge, Biggby Coffee East Dearborn, MWA Service Inc. Dr. Ruby Ahn, Rachid Elabed, Mary Kate Abraham and Kimberly Ismail. In Michigan alone out of 83 counties there has been an increase in hunger and poverty in 80 counties.
