Saudi Arabia newspaper “Okaz”، said that a terrorist plot is being prepared by Qatar with the aim of carrying out terrorist attacks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
It added that Doha recruited mercenaries elements from two African countries for this purpose.
In a report published on Saturday، Okaz newspaper said that according to information obtained by the newspaper، Qatar was seeking to recruit mercenaries from Kenya and Somalia to carry out terrorist operations.
The Qatari plan was unveiled just 24 hours after Saudi Arabia، the United Arab Emirates، Bahrain and Egypt announced the third Qatar-backed terrorism list، which included the name of Mohammed Atm، leader of the Somali al-Shabaab، on the list issued by the four countries.
The Saudi newspaper confirmed that the authorities of the Al-Hamdeen organization in the emirate supporting terrorism coordinated with the Saudi dissident Saad al-Faqih to carry out the sabotage plan and allocated QR 75 million to provide the necessary equipment for its terrorist plan.
“This is not the first time that the name of the dissident al-Faqih has appeared in terrorist schemes. He has been involved in direct and indirect support operations for al-Qaeda terrorist operations،” Okaz said.
