64 new deputies in the Iraqi parliament take the constitutional oath instead of the Sadrist bloc's deputies

RT correspondent in Iraq reported, on Thursday, that 64 new deputies in the House of Representatives were sworn in after the resignation of deputies of the Sadrist bloc affiliated with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr.

Our correspondent stated that 64 new deputies began their duties today instead of the 73 deputies of the Sadrist bloc who resigned a few days ago.

He added that the coordination framework, Sadr's most prominent competitor, won the largest number of seats, followed by the State Forces Alliance.

A few days ago, deputies of the Sadrist bloc affiliated with the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, submitted their resignations from the Iraqi Council of Representatives by order of their leader al-Sadr.
