A couple sold their house and decided to live on a cruise ship for life!

A Seattle couple decided to sell their home to live on a cruise ship permanently because it's cheaper and doesn't cost them to pay a mortgage, so they decided to leave their home and sell it and leave their jobs to live on a ship, according to Insider.

Anglen and Richard Burke have left their home since May last year to live on a cruise ship, so they don't have to pay the mortgage?

"We love to travel, and we were looking for a way to travel consistently in our retirement that makes financial sense," Angeline Burke, a former accountant, told an Australian newspaper earlier this week. A typical home in a couple's hometown of Seattle has a value of $984,863, the cost of homes in the area has increased 17.8% over the past year, and the average monthly cost of a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage is 20%.

"We don't plan to live permanently on Earth in the future," Burke said. "Where else can your resort take you to different countries while relaxing by the pool or sleeping in a comfortable bed?" .
