A wife and husband were found dead Monday morning inside a home in Sterling Heights between Schoenhair and Salle Road.

Police say this may have been a murder and suicide.

Officials said they received a call at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the husband, 87, stating that he had shot his 86-year-old wife.

Sterling Heights Police are now at the scene, where an investigation is underway.

This crime is still under investigation.
