A US-made helicopter seized by the Taliban crashes, killing its crew

A US-made helicopter crashed during a Taliban training exercise, Saturday, in Kabul, killing its two pilots and a crew member, according to the Afghan Defense Ministry.

The crash of the helicopter, a "Black Hawk", took place Saturday on the campus of the Defense University in the Afghan capital.

"An American Black Hawk helicopter flew... for training and crashed due to a technical problem inside the National Defense University campus," Defense Ministry spokesman Enayatullah Khawarizmi said, adding that five people were also injured, Reuters reported.

The former government forces also transported some helicopters to countries in Central Asia before the Taliban movement seized power across the country. And the Taliban succeeded in repairing some planes, including helicopters.
