After his departure from Brest Club and the spread of rumors... Blaili breaks his silence

After his departure from Brest and the spread of rumors, Algerian player Youssef Belaili broke his silence.

And the son of the state of Oran said in a statement published on the page of the Algerian Football Association, recently that his departure from Brest took place in a normal framework, and in full respect of the terms of the contract.

While he stressed that some parties tried hard to distort his image by falsifying the facts.

He did not find comfort

For his part, the sporting director of the Brest team said that Blaili did not find his comfort with the team, especially since he is far from his family, stressing that "it was difficult for Blaili to continue with the team and we agreed to end the cooperation between us." He added that "everything that has been said in recent days about the player remains among the private matters that do not concern us. The most important and above all consideration is the state of the team," according to Reuters.

Termination of contract

This comes after the French Ligue 1 club Brest announced on Thursday that it had terminated its contract with Algerian international winger Youssef Belaili at the player's request.

The French club explained that it had agreed to Blaili's request to terminate his contract, which was supposed to expire in June 2023.

While the French team wished the Algerian player good luck for the rest of his career.

Free transfer deal

It is noteworthy that Blaili (30 years old) had joined Brest in a free transfer deal for 6 months last January, after his consensual separation from the Qatari club Qatar in December. He extended his contract with the French team for one season this summer.

And recently, the player's father and his agent revealed that he has many contacts from well-known teams, and his destination may be to return to the Qatari league.
