Al-Eryani: The Houthis have not implemented their obligations in the armistice and continue to violate them

The Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, said that the Houthis did not implement any of their commitments in declaring the armistice, accusing them of disavowing their commitment to open the crossings.

Al-Eryani wrote, in a series of tweets on "Twitter": "The Houthi group did not implement any of its commitments contained in the armistice declaration, and continued its violations on various fronts, and repudiated the obligation to open the crossings and facilitate the movement of citizens and the movement of goods between the provinces."

He added that the Houthi group "obstructed all initiatives and solutions to open a road not exceeding half a kilometer at the main entrance to Taiz Governorate."

The Yemeni minister considered that the UN armistice and Jordan's negotiations "revealed once again to the inside and outside the reality of the Houthis, and that they are the stumbling block in the way of truce and peace efforts, besieging civilians, looting revenues in their favour, and using the humanitarian file as a material for misinformation, blackmail and bargaining."
