Al-Kazemi sends an invitation to the demonstrators and the security forces

Today, Friday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, called on the demonstrators to cooperate with the security forces in preserving state institutions, while stressing not to use gunfire and illegal methods in dealing with the demonstrations.

"The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, affirms the right of peaceful demonstrations that the constitution guarantees to practice within the framework of the law, calling on the demonstrators to cooperate with the security forces in preserving and protecting state institutions and public and private property," the Security Media Cell said in a statement received by Alsumaria News.

The Commander-in-Chief stressed "previously issued instructions that the security forces should fully protect peaceful demonstrators, stressing the prevention of the use of gunfire and other illegal methods in dealing with demonstrations."

Al-Kazemi called on the media and social networking sites to "avoid the circulation of false news and be drawn into it, which aims to create a disturbing atmosphere that fuels chaos and harms civil peace," according to the statement.
