Al-Mashat calls  to end the war and fix what it spoiled

The head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, said that the September 21 revolution is "a glorious and blessed revolution that is necessary for our people socially and politically."


“Our people have the right to be proud of their victories after eight years of aggression,” Al-Mashat added on the occasion of the anniversary of the September 21 revolution, “the current revolution is our path to independence, unlike what we have been in for the past 60 years,” he said.


He also explained that the revolution "will move us from the square of disease and poverty to the square of independence."


 “I announce to our people with confidence that our revolution has moved from a revolution of existence to a revolution of liberation and construction for the sake of the country’s independence and stability,” he continued.


 "We are continuing our efforts to consolidate the values ​​of tolerance in our society," he also called for "leading the war to a joint transition from a war strategy to a peace policy," he stressed.


Al-Mashat called for ending the war, fixing what it spoiled, and lifting the siege, adding: "It is time for peace and the outsider must not lie and believe his lie."


He also called on the war leadership to "quickly build confidence, and this should start with lifting the siege, exchanging prisoners and paying."
