An American company develops vegan eggs.. Here are the details!!

With more and more people switching to plant-based products, more and more food companies are seeking healthy plant-based alternatives to many animal products. From this standpoint, an American company has developed eggs that contain purely plant-based ingredients.

US company UEG claims to have developed the first whole vegan egg consisting of both the white and the yolk, and to have introduced its product on a small scale as a first step before expanding and distributing its new product throughout the Los Angeles area by the end of the year.

The company's offering is similar to that of other plant-based alternatives to animal products. Since their eggs are made from soybeans, sunflower oil, water, and flour, they are more sustainable to make. And with just one gram of protein, it's not only a nutritional value substitute for chicken eggs, but it also doesn't contain any cholesterol. We will also note that fried and boiled new vegan eggs are separate products.

"Our vision is to create the world's largest egg company without using chickens, not an egg substitute or the largest vegan egg company," says CEO Ai Ran Gruner.

The company says it recently received $5 million in seed funding, and that it plans to use that money to expand production and start working on hard-boiled and scrambled egg products.
