Azov officially became an inland sea of Russia

The deputy of the Russian State Duma for Crimea, Mikhail Sheremet, said that the Sea of Azov has officially become an inland sea in Russia, after the accession of the Donetsk Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions to Russia.

"Now the Sea of Azov has officially become the exclusive internal sea of our country," Sheremet added.

This "will put an absolute end to the plans of the Kyiv authorities to arrange provocations in the Azov region, and NATO to place its naval base there," according to him.

"Russia is regaining what historically belonged to it by right," he stressed.
