Barbie Queen sells out in just three seconds.

A limited-edition Barbie doll set to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain, sold out in just three seconds.

John Lewis, a high-quality department store brand operating across Great Britain, said it sold all of its inventory in three seconds, and most sellers on eBay hope to sell a coveted collector's item for at least twice the price, as the doll's retail price was 95 British pounds (about 7,630 rubles), according to the Guardian.

The dolls have become one of the last souvenirs to celebrate the platinum jubilee of the British Queen's reign, which will take place in early June. It is reported that the face of the doll is almost identical to the face of the queen, and her clothes are made in the form of an ivory dress with a blue ribbon, a reference to the appearance that the queen prefers in the royal portraits, where she flaunts white gloves on the doll's hands.

Dollmaker Mattel confirmed that the limited-edition doll has been sold in the UK, but hinted that more could be released ahead of next month's festivities.
