Bennett's office: Israel will make all decisions related to Al-Aqsa Mosque without concern for foreign or political pressures

Israel confirmed that "all decisions related to Al-Aqsa Mosque (the alleged Temple Mount according to Israel) will be taken by the Israeli government, without concern for pressure exerted by foreign or political parties."


In a statement, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said, referring to "reports that claimed that there had been a change in the status quo on the Temple Mount (Al-Aqsa Mosque) due to political pressures": "It is about an incident that happened about a month and a half ago...and indeed About a month and a half ago, a Jordanian request was received to increase the staff of the Islamic endowments on the Temple Mount (Al-Aqsa Mosque) by 50, but Israel did not respond to this request,” he said.
