Born in 1995 .. the cat "Flossy" enters the Guinness Book of Records!!

Flossi, born in 1995, has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living cat in the world.

Despite being deaf and visually impaired, Flossi was described as "caring, funny and sweet".

Flossie's caregiver, Vicky Green, said: "I knew from the start that Flossie was a special cat, but I never imagined I would be sharing the same home with a Guinness World Record holder."

For her part, the coordinator of the Cat Protection Branch, in the British city of Crowborough, said: "We were surprised when the veterinarians' records showed that Flossie was approximately 27 years old."

Flossi still has a long way to go to break the record for the oldest cat, which died after reaching the age of 38.

The average age of cats is often between 4 and 18 years, knowing that 27 years in the age of cats is 124 years if measured by human age.
