Combating human trafficking in Iraq: the price of a testicle reaches $80,000 abroad

The director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Investigation in Karkh, Brigadier General Wissam Nassif Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the price of a testicle outside Iraq reaches $80,000, and the price of a kidney is $33,000.

In a statement to the "The Duty of Frankness" program, which is shown on Al-Iraqiya, he explained that human trafficking is focused on the sale of kidneys, adding: "We have seized the sale of testicles between Iraq and Ukraine."

Al-Zubaidi said that human trafficking squadrons spread in every hospital that conducts organ transplants.

He stressed that they "will work to combat human trafficking behind the border."

And he indicated that all the pages related to human trafficking have been stopped, and that "there are brokers who carry out human trafficking operations."
