Dead and wounded in an attack on a security point in southern Yemen

A source reported that 5 Shabwa Defense soldiers were killed and 5 others wounded, as a result of an attack that targeted a security point in Ataq, the capital of Shabwa Governorate in southern Yemen.



According to citizens, more than 30 armed men believed to be from the "Al-Qaeda" organization, attacked a security point of the Shabwa Defense Forces at the entrance to Ataq, Shabwa.


The Shabwa Defense Forces are affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council, and have recently been subjected to a number of attacks by the "Al-Qaeda" organization, and it had purified the province years before the organization's control and fought many battles with it with the support of the Security Belt Forces and the Arab coalition aircraft.
