Dearborn Police Apprehend Wrestling Coach for Alleged Child Sex Abuse

DEARBORN, MI — On June 13, 2022, the Dearborn Police Department was made aware of an inappropriate relationship between a high school student and wrestling coach at Divine Child High School. After a thorough investigation by detectives, Dearborn’s Special Operations and Narcotics Units apprehended Brandon Fenzel in White Lake. 

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office charged Brandon Fenzel with 4 counts of Child Sexually Abusive Activity and 4 counts of Computer/Internet – Communicating with Another to Commit a Crime.  He was arraigned today before Honorable Judge Mark Somers of the 19th District Court and issued a $500,000.00 Cash Bond. The Probable Cause Conference has been scheduled for July 1, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. and the Preliminary Examination is set for July 8, 2022.

It is alleged that Brandon Fenzel provided marijuana to a student in exchange for explicit images and videos.
