Iraq: "Basra Oil" announces the return of loading and export operations to normal levels

The Basra Oil Company announced the return of loading and export operations from the Basra oil port to their normal rates.

"The technical and engineering teams in the Basra Oil Company were able to address the oil spill, in a record time that does not exceed 24 hours," noting that "the loading and export operations from the Basra oil port have returned to their normal rates," the company said, in a statement.

"The company will compensate for the pauses in the coming days by pumping additional quantities, without affecting the planned export rates," the statement added, according to the Iraqi News Agency.

The "Basra Oil Company" had announced, earlier, that its technical and engineering teams were able to deal with a leak of crude oil in the system of surplus tanks in the Basra oil port, stressing that the loading and export operations from the single buoys did not stop
