Mahsa Amini's father: We are not satisfied with the protests in Iran and we have nothing to do with them

The father of the Iranian young woman, Mahsa Amini, Amjad Amini, confirmed that the family had not yet been informed of the results of forensic tests regarding the causes of his daughter's death.

Amini stressed that the gatherings and demonstrations held in a number of Iranian provinces, following the death of his daughter, "have nothing" to do with the family, and "were not for our sake," noting that he and Mahsa's family "are not satisfied with these matters."

The father of the Iranian young woman explained that the family's only desire was to deal with and "punish" the cause of his daughter's death.

Yesterday, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi confirmed that he had promised the family of the young woman, Amini, that her right would not be lost, and that the judicial authorities would announce the outcome of the investigation into the incident when it was completed.

A few days ago, the Iranian police published a video clip captured by surveillance cameras documenting the last moments of the young woman, Amini, at the police station. Tehran police said the footage proves that 22-year-old Amini was not subjected to any violence or physical abuse.
