Mexican Navy: Three people were killed and two injured after a helicopter crash in the south of the country

The Mexican navy announced that three people were killed and two injured after a helicopter crashed in the southern state of Tabasco.

The Navy indicated that an investigation is underway into the cause of the crash, and officials are conducting reconnaissance operations in the area.

The accident comes after a helicopter crash last July, "killing 14 people while they were on a mission to arrest drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero."

It is noteworthy that, in February 2021, Mexico witnessed the crash of a Learjet 45 military plane while taking off from "El Lancero" airport in the Emiliano Zapata municipality of the eastern state of Veracruz, killing six soldiers.
