Oil prices rose 1.76% to $88.05 a barrel.

Oil prices rose, in light of the decline in the dollar and supported by the rising expectations of global demand for black gold. By 11:14 Moscow time, US crude futures "West Texas Intermediate" rose by 1.76% to $ 88.05 a barrel.


Brent crude futures rose 1.96% to $94.63 a barrel, according to Bloomberg website data. In the currency market, the dollar index, which measures the value of the US currency against a basket of major currencies, fell 0.59% to 110.86 points.
