The idea for this event started when Qahwah House noticed that there isnt much awareness surrounding Coffee and its impact on not only Yemeni culture but other cultures around the world. Because of this, we've took it upon ourselves as a challenge to set up something that would champion Coffee within Yemen and within our own communities. And to also champion all of you here tonight as well. Today, coffee has become an important part of society. Your cup of coffee during working hours helps sustain energy throughout the day. At home, it’s a focal point for entertaining. It creates a social ambiance. There’s nothing like reminiscing with friends over a good cup of coffee. Coffee drinkers love to socialize over their favorite drinks of choice. Culture is inherently infused in coffee, and coffee houses help create the coffee culture experience. So how does Qahwah House play a role? Well, Qahwah House is proud to have been the first Yemeni premium coffee house of its kind. We specialize in premium organic Yemeni coffee. Introduce Ibrahim : Founder and Owner of Qahwah House Ibrahim Alhasbani was born in Yemen and grew up on a coffee farm outside the country's capital city of Sanaa. After completing his studies at Sanaa University in business, he worked at various companies such as Yemeni Airlines, Red Bull & Nestle. Soon after fleeing war, Ibrahim opened up what is now famous Qahwah House - specializing in premium high quality organic Yemeni Coffee. Ibrahim not only sees himself as a businessman but also as an ambassador always expressing and sharing his culture with others. His coffee shop speaks for itself to those who’ve tried it.
