Pochettino retracts his statement about Mbappe staying with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino has retracted his previous statement regarding the future of his team's star, French international Kylian Mbappe, and the possibility of him continuing with the club next season.

When asked about the percentage of him (Pochettino) and Mbappe with Saint-Germain next season, Pochettino replied in a press conference last Thursday: "100 percent, I and two agents continue in Paris."

However, the Argentine coach said via the "Amazon Prime Video" network, before the start of the Saint-Germain match against Strasbourg (3-3), yesterday, Friday: "I did not say that Mbappe will be with us next season 100 percent." He added: "This was not my message, but the answer was about the Strasbourg match today (yesterday), not next season."

Mbappe's contract with Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current season, and several press reports speculate that the 23-year-old may move to Real Madrid.

And Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said in a press conference yesterday, Friday, commenting on the statement of the Paris Saint-Germain coach regarding Mbappe’s future: “Pochettino said that Mbappe will remain in the team 100 percent, sometimes coaches cannot reveal the whole truth in press conferences.” .
