Raisi: Western pressures failed to prevent Iran from continuing its economic activity

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said, "The enemies are working to stop the country's trade and exports by imposing sanctions and issuing threats," stressing that Iran's oil and non-oil exports have not stopped despite the imposition of the embargo.

Raisi, in a speech during a visit to the city of Islamshahr in the province of Tehran, addressed America and its allies, saying: "Let America and its allies know that they will receive a severe blow from the Iranian people. In the country, despite the sanctions and pressures, Iran is still developing in the field of science, economy and other fields, and this development angers the enemy, who believes that through pressures and sanctions it can stop our oil and non-oil exports.

He added, "The enemies wanted to implement the plans they implemented in other countries, but they failed to do so." And he continued, saying: "Know, O enemies, that the Iranian people will regret you and thwart your plans."

And the Iranian president considered that "what made the enemy's efforts fail despite all the conspiracies it plotted against the Iranian people, is the people's presence, culture, thought and belief."

He added, "The enemy is now targeting Iran's social activity, so cultural bonds must be preserved between different peoples to ensure peaceful coexistence."
