Russia: Repairing Nord Stream's damage takes time and money

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak confirmed that the damage to the infrastructure of the Nord Stream pipeline that transports Russian gas to Europe can be repaired, pointing out that it takes time and money.

“The United States, Ukraine and Poland have announced in the past that this infrastructure will not work, because they will do everything in their power to ensure that. That is why we should look at this seriously, and they could have an interest in disrupting this line,” Novak said, in a statement for him.

Last Monday, the operator of the gas pipeline "Nord Stream 2" announced that there had been a "leak" accident in the pipeline in Danish waters near the island of Bornholm, pointing to the establishment of a safe zone, with a radius of five nautical miles.
