'Slow trip': Japanese tourist travels across Turkey on donkey

The Japanese tourist, Kotaro Takada, 30 years old, made a wide tour between Turkish states on the back of a donkey.

Takad said that he started his tour last May from Merzifon district in Amasya state in northern Turkey, and ended it in Izmir state in the west of the country, during which he traveled thousands of kilometers.

He added that after he bought the donkey in the state of Manisa, he called it "Susutsubi", and then headed south through the villages of central Anatolia to reach the tourist region of Cappadocia.

He added that the idea of walking around with a donkey crystallized in his mind 5 years ago during his visit to Morocco, where he loves to walk, especially accompanied by a donkey, describing it as "sensitive as humans."

Takada explained that he toured 30 countries previously, and that he intends to complete his tour around the world in the coming days in Europe on the back of a donkey.
