Steps to take to prevent hair loss

Keep your hair clean and dandruff free

Unclean hair is more likely to fall out. So wash your hair two or three times a week. Properly washing and brushing the hair will also help reduce dandruff which ultimately reduces shedding and promotes healthy growth.

Put a scarf on when you go out

Exposing your hair to harsh sunlight, dust, and pollution can cause hair loss. Conversely, wearing a soft scarf will prevent hair loss by acting as a barrier between your hair and pollution. It also makes your hair less frizzy and easier to style.

Don't brush your hair when it's wet

Some people have a habit of combing their hair while it is wet. This may also be the reason for your hair loss. Our hair is weaker when wet, so brushing wet hair can cause it to break. Allow your hair to dry completely before combing it.

Indoor and outdoor hydration

Dry and damaged hair is more prone to hair loss. So the key is to keep it hydrated as much as you can. Drink 8-10 glasses of water to keep it hydrated both internally and externally. You can also use some natural ingredients like aloe vera gel and honey twice a week to restore lost moisture to your hair. Just put it in a generous amount on your hair for 15 minutes and then wash it off with normal water. You will notice a huge difference in the texture and fall of your hair within 3-4 weeks.

Avoid pulling your hair

Ponytails and tight hairstyles aggravate the condition of the hair, so try braids and buns. You should also avoid combing your hair back as it leads to more hair breakage. Don't keep your hair straight while you sleep because too much pulling and tugging will lead to more hair breakage.
