The boxer who caused the death of his opponent threatens to commit suicide... This is what happened to him after the incident!

The South African boxer, Civicel Montungwa, is in a very bad psychological state, against the backdrop of the fight he had with his compatriot Simisu Buthelezi last week, which ended in a tragic way.

And the South African Football Association announced the death of Buthelezi, days after he fought a ten-round marathon match against Montungoa.

And the Spanish newspaper, Marca, reported that Montongua was subjected to a campaign of violent insults, on social media, which made him contemplate suicide.

"I was subjected to severe criticism and insults on social media platforms when Semisu was admitted to the hospital," Montungwa said in an interview with local media.

He added: "The intensity of these insults increased after his death, and reached a point that I cannot bear, and now I am faced with one thing, which is to kill myself."

"Even my neighbors posted very ugly messages about me on social media, I'm not safe anymore, I didn't kill Simisu," Montungwa added.

He continued, "Maybe we participated in a boxing fight, but it was not a matter of life or death, all I wanted was to win the title, which might help change my life and the life of my family."

He explained, "I am the only one who works in the house, where I live with my little brother, my aunt and her children. My mother died when I was four years old. My father is still alive but we do not live with him."

He concluded: "So winning this title (WBF African Lightweight Championship) will help me financially, but people called me a killer, it could have been me who died and not Buthelezi."
