The Houthis accuse the Arab coalition of seizing a new fuel ship

On Thursday, the Houthis accused the Arab coalition of violating the United Nations armistice in force in Yemen by seizing an oil derivatives ship that was on its way to the port of Hodeidah, which is run by Ansar Allah in western Yemen.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Oil Company in Sanaa, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said in a post on Facebook that the Arab coalition forces continue to piracy on fuel ships and violate the announced truce by seizing today the gasoline ship "Sea Heart" and taking it to the detention area.

He explained that this is an unjustified violation, whether before or during the announcement of the armistice.” He added that the ship was detained despite being searched and obtaining UN permits.

Al-Mutawakel called on the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to "put an end to these abuses."
