The Houthis announce the downing of a "Saudi armed spy plane"

Today, Wednesday, Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Saree, announced the downing of a "Saudi armed spy plane" in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen.



He added: "And that was while it was violating the armistice and carrying out hostile acts in the airspace of the Haradh district in Hajjah Governorate." Saree said in a tweet to him on "Twitter": "Our air defenses were able, thanks to God, to shoot down a Chinese-made armed spy plane CH4 belonging to the Saudi Air Force, with a missile. Homemade atmosphere in the early hours of this morning."


It is noteworthy that the United Nations had announced a truce in Yemen for a period of two months, starting from the first day of Ramadan, between the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the Ansar Allah group, the Houthis, that could be extended if the two parties agreed, and it is the first truce in the country since 2014.
