The Houthis are surprised by the visit of the UN envoy to Sanaa

The leader of the Houthi "Ansar Allah" group, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, questioned the significance of the visit of the UN envoy Hans Grunderberg to Yemen, surprising the reason for the visit before the group's demands were implemented.

Al-Houthi wrote on Twitter: "What will it bring about the return of the bank's operations and the payment of salaries, or the relief that America has reduced, or the launch of medical trips that the United Nations has pledged, and which have not yet been fulfilled, or what?"

It is expected that the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, will arrive in Sanaa, on Monday, on his first visit to the city since taking office.

The Houthi leaders refused to meet with him before implementing their demands to "lift the siege on the port of Hodeidah and Sanaa airport."
