The Houthis: It is not acceptable to continue the state of no war and no peace imposed by the coalition

The Yemeni government formed by the "Ansar Allah" movement said that the coalition "lacks credibility in implementing the requirements of the armistice", and stressed that it will not accept the continuation of the state of no war and no peace imposed by the coalition.

"It is not possible to accept the state of no war and no peace that the coalition is pushing for," said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Sana'a for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan in a press statement.

Sanaa "is not betting on the armistice to achieve the strategic goals of the Yemeni people," and that "accepting the armistice came to confirm the sincere intention towards peace," he added.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Civil Service and Insurance in the government, Salim Al-Maghales, said that "the armistice is nearing its end and the salary file has not been moved despite the presence of the Economic Committee in Muscat and the repeated promises from the United Nations."

"The coalition lacks seriousness and credibility in the salary file and other files related to the humanitarian aspect of the armistice and lifting the siege," he added.

"The coalition is deliberately increasing the suffering of Yemenis by cutting salaries, while it continues to loot the oil wealth that used to cover the salary item," he pointed out.
